I just finished posting new cards to the postcard project. It has been ages since I updated. My sincere apologies to everyone who sent in cards. Each and every one is appreciated! What made me get my butt in gear? A very cool postcard came in the mail from Cathy and family yesterday. Bleu didn't want to give it to me, because he was afraid I wouldn't get it back to him right away. As he pointed out, the pile of cards on my desk has been growing and he is getting tired of being patient with me.
Thanks to the following:
Cathy, for the many cards. It was so thoughtful of you to send another one!
Mom (aka Grandma Susan), for all the great postcards from Colorado and New Mexico!
Mieke, for so many cards ~ even on vacation!! That was a real treat...
Sharon B (from OK) ~ thanks so much! You'll be hearing from us soon.
Tine, for the long distance card. I am embarrassed to say that I haven't sent yours yet. I have to go to the post office for the air mail and I am being lazy about it. Sorry!
Onionboy, for the lovely letter. I must apologize again for the check. I sponsored him (MS Tour 2004) but my check arrived too late. Once again, I put off going to the post office for air mail. Next year, I will get the $$ off on time. No excuses!!
Lou Dufrane, of Streets of America for the emailed postcards. Let me know when SOA is back up and running!
The project was a success, with a total of 74 cards from six countries.
Are you still wanting more postcards? I meant to email you but since I'm still a newbie here, I've only been reading for about a week so I wasn't sure.
